Designated Driver Program

So you’ve got your costumes sorted, your cards in hand and you’re ready to roll, but who’s going to opt out of drinking at a PUB FEST and be the designated driver (D-D)?

Responsible drinking is all about planning ahead. One of the best ways to do this is to nominate a ‘Skipper’- someone who will look after his/her friends while they are enjoying a few drinks to get home safely.

SOFT DRINKS ON THE HOUSE FOR PUB FEST DESIGNATED DRIVERS!

This year registered Skippers will be rewarded with FREE soft drink at all of the Pub Fest venues. Skippers will also receive a free souvenir World’s Greatest Pub Fest lanyard.

Registration in the program is essential.

How to Register:

*  Skippers will still be eligible to participate in the Guinness World Record attempt receiving a stamp with your free soft drinks. Just ask bar staff.

•   Visit any of the Hydration Station located on your Pub Fest map on the day of the event

•  Skippers must approach the Hydration Station staff to identify themselves

•  Eligibility to participate in the program is at the discretion of event staff

•  Participants must sign the Skipper register and bar staff will issue a wristband to the skipper

•  The Skipper is now entitled to free soft drinks for the duration of the Pub Fest

*  If seen drinking alcohol while wearing a wrist band, it will be removed by Security or bar staff.
